“The 890 Project is an East Buffalo neighborhood development, they had envisioned for years"

Proprietor, Anita Woodruff-Sanders, is leading The 890 development with a community -driven mindset. Anita graduated from the Eastside Avenues Community -Based Real Estate Training Program (CBREDT) and the CPC Access Incubator. Upon graduation, Anita worked diligently to bring her vision to life.
Mrs. Sanders is a licensed realtor, entrepreneur, eastside property owner, and has served our community for 20 years as a Transit Police Officer and Lieutenant.
Anita and her husband, John Sanders, Sr., are dedicated to Buffalo as the place where John was born, where they married and have raised seven children. It is also where they have become respected Queen City business owners and real estate developers under the banners of Woodruff Enterprises and Trace Assets Protection Services.
In 2023, Anita completed the Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) ACCESS Incubator Program. Her exceptional performance in both earned her a $500,000 Empire State Development Grant.
Together, she and John decided to allocate that money as foundation funding for Project 890—an East Buffalo neighborhood development they had envisioned for years. Now this accomplished couple is ready to bring their vision to life, sparking a new era of investment and revitalization throughout the East Buffalo community.
